Our #RisingYouth program awarded 1,622 grants to youth this year.
Our team worked efficiently to review applications with an average
application turn-around time of just 12 days, and provided a
delightful grantee experience resulting in a Net Promoter Score of 91.
Importantly, 81% of the grantees we supported identified from one
or more under-represented demographics.
This year, a major focus of our team was providing more online
resources to support grantees and alumni in their project
development and career journeys. These resources attracted a
combined total of 38,530 pageviews from 2,470 youth, equivalent to
42% of our grantees and alumni to date.
While 2020 was a year of adaptation due to the global pandemic, 2021
was a year of focus and stability. Instead of seeking growth and scale, we
chose to emphasize depth of relationships and worked to strengthen
the support we provide to youth and educators who we're grateful to
have the opportunity to serve.
