Your Role as a Content Provider
We are asking each guest content provider to design an interactive session that nurtures the ideas,
interests and strengths of learners who are also provided an opportunity and space to share their
gis. The length of each session varies and can be anywhere between 30-45 minutes for K-12
students and 40-60 minutes for Teacher PD. We ask that you connect and are ready 15 minutes
prior to the start of your session and allow for 15 minutes following your official session end in case
there are questions from the students.
The commitment involved from our network of content providers is flexible and responsive to the
needs of our partner schools with the time and date being customized to the needs and availability
of each classroom. Teachers at our partner schools work with our School Coordinators on staff at
TakingITGlobal to make session requests that link to their curriculum priorities along with
personalized learning needs and interests of their students. Once your specific session is booked,
our School Coordinator is able to provide additional context on the classroom and community that
you will be linking with to ensure relevance to their needs.
