Recommendations for Institutions 0 1 02 03 Accessible learning spaces, both virtually and in-person, are important for any student in post-secondary. Despite the many possibilities of online learning, there are unique digital, environmental, and social barriers that some Indigenous students are facing that could negatively impact their learning journey. Educate non-Indigenous staff and faculty on these challenges. Ask staff and faculty who work with Indigenous students what they need to feel supported. Recognize the unique challenges facing Indigenous students and the staff and faculty who support them In considering what the future of post-secondary education looks like at your institution, consider the need to centre the perspectives of Indigenous students, staff, and faculty.
