Norman PhD MDes CE Cameron Norman is a psychologist, professional designer, educator, and evaluator based in Toronto, ON. He serves as the Principal and President of Cense Ltd, a strategic innovation and research consultancy that focuses on human services and health systems. His work focuses on using evaluation and design thinking to support public sector organizations, non-profits, government and healthcare to innovate their services and products. Cameron has earned B.A. (Hons) (University of Regina) and MA (Wilfrid Laurier University) in psychology and a doctorate in Behavioural Science (Public Health) from the University of Toronto. He also is a professional designer having earned an MDes from OCAD University in Strategic Foresight and Innovation. He holds the Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation from the Canadian Evaluation Society and is a professional member of the Canadian Psychological Association, American Evaluation Association, Association for Psychological Science, and the AIGA. Dr. Norman served as the Director of Evaluation for the Peter A. Silverman Global eHealth Program while as professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto and in the Faculty of Design at OCAD University where he teaches in the Design for Health graduate program. Cameron has published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and reports on health promotion, behaviour change, social innovation, and systems thinking and remains an active scholar working with professionals across the globe in health promotion.
