G R A P H I C A R T S 165 LESSON 2: ROUGH SKETCH In this lesson Ovila takes us from rough sketch to cleaned up image. In this lesson Ovila will be making a Coast Salish Eagle design. Typically Ovila does his rough sketches in ArtRage and transfers them to Photoshop. He will be using the paint symmetry function which you can access here: With that turned on, anything he draws on one side will be duplicated in the other. Select the image with control + A, hit Control + C to copy it and Control + V to paste it into a Photoshop canvas. Next, he lowered the opacity to 20.
