J A D E R O B E R T S 130 You don't have to worry about your recordings getting lost because GarageBand for iPad autosaves and stores on iCloud. LESSON 4: EXTRAS - MORE ABOUT EQUIPMENT AND SHARING YOUR POD This lesson talks about equipment and tips on how to share your podcast or your audio recordings. GarageBand for iPad is so helpful if you want to record and don't have access to a com- puter. Jade first started recording on a ShureMV5, which is a USB condenser mic. It's advantages are that it's great for in person recording with one person and it's affordable. It's not as good for more than one person or if you're recording phone calls. Jade's next setup was a Zoom H4NPro. Jade found this one had a learning curve but she could use it as a handheld or you can plug in a mic. She used an AudioTechnica mic with a cord and a mic stand. It's not a USB microphone so it has to be plugged into the Zoom to use it. The sound quality was good and you don't have to take your laptop with you to record. It's very portable
