She finds it an easier way to work with detailed jewelry pieces. Krystin uses non-toxic epoxy as it makes her feel safer. She buys it off of Amazon. The mixture takes 8 hours to cure. Once the pieces are cured, you should be able to remove them from the mold. When cured, they should look crystal clear. LESSON 3: Krystin noticed that the resin was harder on one side and decided to file it down to even it out. She uses different shaped files to work on different pieces to get different results. Tip: Your hands might get a little white, but don't be concerned as it's just the dust from the resin. Krystin uses a rectangle file to smooth out any ridges and make it shine.
