" The Connected North program is an
integral part of the programming for
students at [our school]. Our teachers
work closely with the TakingITGlobal
team to plan experiences that link to
current curricula teaching, experiences
that engage and motivate our students
to learn more. This year, classes have
participated in a wide variety of sessions
that provide opportunities they would
not otherwise have, such as learning
'dance moves' with a qualified instructor,
visiting a fall farmers' market, and
performing experiments with scientists.
This program brings the world to our
children. As principal, I feel extremely
fortunate and equally grateful for the
opportunities Connected North provides."
