We like to inform you that this initiative is 100% a YOUTH LED initiative. The ideas generated through this initiative are a reflection of what is possible to achieve when young people are provided with safer spaces to express themselves and with resources and guidance to take tangible actions. All this would not have been possible without the leadership of Alex Simpson & Jade Newton-Gardener from Fully Focused Youth Team (London, UK). A special thanks to our collaborators and panelists Alex, Andre, Evelyn, Isaiah, Joshua, Monica, Musa, Malik, Peace, and Ronni f or keeping the conversation flowing and joining forces across countries to produce this toolkit. We also like to acknowledge Musa Innis for designing the logo for this event and Andrew Mukama for designing this toolkit. All the pictures you will find in this toolkit are produced by the young creatives from the Adobe Creativity Grants network. Thank you for bringing awareness to such an important and ongoing social movement! Dear Reader, Last but not least, a thank you to the community leaders from the following organisations for actively creating space for young people to express themselves creatively, take on leadership roles, and paving the way for a more equitable creative industry: Artists for Humanity (Boston, USA) Better Youth (Los Angeles, USA) Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay (Green Bay, USA) Destiny Arts Center (Oakland, USA) Reel Youth (Vancouver & Toronto, Canada) RYSE Center (Oakland, USA) Urgent, Inc. (Miami, USA) Here is to keeping the conversation going and creating change in our communities. 2
