This program consists of three pathways of learning: Está Soy Yo (ESY), Digital Promotoras, and CEO (Creative Entrepreneurship Opportunities). The three pathways supported young creatives with their self-empowerment journey as artists, enhancing youth agency in the community, and teaching workforce skills. Over 12 weeks, young creatives connected virtually once a week for two hours in their cohorts to learn and develop digital media skills. Each cohort was led by a teaching artist, with participants being supported by mentors. Mentors connected with the young creatives outside of sessions to provide personalized guidance on their projects. Additionally, the organization tried to replicate as much as possible their in- person programming within a virtual setting. To do this, the Las Fotos Project team created virtual places where young creatives can connect and converse with one another, industry leaders, and lead peer workshops.
