Two cohorts of young creatives connected virtually for four weeks to complete their internships and create digital media portfolios in their respective creative fields. Utilizing a project-based learning curriculum structure, young creatives of the WBL program virtually connected for four hours over four days per week for direct online instructions from teaching artists and their employers. The participants were also provided the opportunity to connect with mentors who are currently studying in the same creative field, in addition to independent work and meetings with their digital media portfolio coach. As part of this internship, both young creatives and their employers had to partake in a six hour career readiness training that focused on topics such as time management, asset based language and respect.
