OUR APPROACH
We recognize that lasting change can only be achieved when every member of society is actively
involved in supporting young people reach their full potential.
In all the work we do, we consult community members in yearly in-person visits and directly
incorporate their feedback into our strategies and project plans. These trips were completed
between September 2019 and January 2020. We share our gathered insights to inspire and
co-design approaches that support well-being for learners,educators, and the communities as a
whole. Further, Connected North content and sessions are entirely demand-based, and we supply
content requested by communities.

RELATIONS
Since TakingITGlobal adopted the Connected
North program in 2015, the program has grown
significantly.
Going into the 2020-2021 school year, Connected
North will be serving 96 schools and over 20,000
students.
As the program continues to grow, we are
maintaining and prioritizing relationship-building
with communities. We are also streamlining
internal processes for more efficient program
execution for staff and schools.
