185 # J E U N E S E N A C T I O N : I M P A C T C O M M U N A U TA I R E Impact Model Our impact model is best illustrated by a sustainable ecosystem where we all play an essential role in supporting and contributing to the growth of our youth (represented as the flower) and their ideas for social change. The National Coalition of the Canada Service Corps (bees), our impact partners (butterflies), youth engagement activators (stems), support team (roots), and community members (soil) all work together to support youth. By providing funding through our #RisingYouth grants (moon) and shining a spotlight (sun) on their projects, we ensure that they grow, thrive, and flourish while also inspiring future generations of youth (seeds) to grow for change. The health and contributions of every element in the ecosystem are essential to creating strong community foundations (bedrock of soil) to repeat the cycle in a way that promotes continued blossoming. This diagram was developed and designed by Melissa Yaw, Jamal Tekleweld, Kim Boucher-Morin, Aicha Allaoui, Jennifer Corriero, and Michael Furdyk together in collaboration with artist Nyle Miigizi Johnston.
