After the primary organizer of the camp retired, #RisingYouth grantee Monica Fuller decided to step in and continue the tradition! With the support of her grant, she organized a weekend of fun for elementary school students with hearing loss as well as their parents. Activities at the camp included archery, rock climbing, horseback riding, arts and crafts, and bonfires in the evening. It was an important gathering bringing people together from all across Saskatchewan. The children were able to bond with other children with similar life experiences while parents supported one another. " Everyone was so thankful that the camp is still running. They were worried that they would miss that connection and friendship would be lost. The whole weekend was amazing and so worth it!"
