With the funding, he has been able to organize a number of activities including a poster campaign against homophobia and transphobia, a speaker series on non-binary and transgender experiences, and various training courses on LGBTQ2+ issues designed for both staff and students. In addition to this, Julien has even created a physical and online space for LGBTQ2+ students. He has used the #RisingYouth grant to purchase furniture for the physical space, as well as create a website that acts as an online resource for support, questions, and other training. " The biggest success to date for me is to see the number of young people who get involved and come to visit us and the support of the teachers we meet."
