All three sessions were recorded through note taking. Participants were informed that what they shared was being recorded
and were able to redact anything they felt uncomfortable being documented. Many participants felt that recording their
perspectives and writing it into a report such as this was empowering and very much needed in order to enact change.
During the Toronto gathering, TakingITGlobal, in partnership
with the RBC Foundation, provided the participants an
opportunity to share their experiences through a panel and
gathering hosted at Cisco's head office in downtown Toronto.
This event was attended by representatives from various
organizations each who shared an interest in learning more
about how to better move forward in the spirit of
reconciliation within their respective workspaces and
institutions.
