Program Overview
Connected North is a leading edge program that delivers
immersive and interactive education services to remote Indigenous
communities, through high definition, two-way video technology.
The program currently supports 43 schools serving over 10,000
Indigenous students, across all three territories and northern
communities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan,
Manitoba, and Ontario.
Connected North appreciates the support made from supporters
and partners to deliver programming for the 2018-2019 school
year. With this funding, we were able to provide important,
engaging educational content that provided students with
increased feelings of empowerment in school and in life.
In the coming pages, we will showcase some of the sessions
provided by the funding, the impact of these sessions, and how we
aim to continue to grow the program.
