Vocal Revolutionaries was founded in 2011 by Lee Mokobe who saw the need to tell stories from
the youth perspective. They believe by providing the disadvantaged youth of South Africa with a
space for self-expression, educational improvement and home for safety, they are able to influence
and shape their country's next leaders. They create dynamic youth who influence and shape their
communities in a positive way. Through literary, digital and music arts young people receive an
educational supplement that bridges the gap between disadvantaged and brilliant.
