#Decarbonize:#Decolonize PARTICIPATION The project as a whole involved thousands of student, in many different ways. 315 accounts participated in the online classroom and made over 830 contributions to the #Decarbonize: 1 #Decolonize discussion through blogs, writing pieces, and art submissions to the classroom and global gallery. Further, over 2200 of their peers contributed to our global youth survey on traditional environmental knowledge, which was translated into six languages, and has specific results highlighted in the paper. From all these student contributors, 18 global lead students came together in Katowice, Poland - representing 16 of the overall participating countries, and evenly matched between the global north and global south. As the core writing team for the project, they actively represented their peers from their respective corners of the world writing a collaboration position piece for the leaders of the planet. The individual created accounts were often for personal use; however, some classes created one (or more) accounts and posted as partnered 1 or group work.
