POST CONFERENCE AND
NEXT STEPS
Following the conclusion of the conference in Poland, students were expected to continue to
participate in decolonizing and decarbonizing activities and awareness. Many schools have organized
local and regional educational events, presentations, and science/knowledge expositions; as well as
awareness and advocacy campaigns to help disseminate their experiences and share the paper.
A post-project virtual event is planned for March 2019, to allow students an opportunity to share the
strengths and weaknesses of their post-project activities since their COP24 presentation. This will also
allow a time to celebrate their successes and provide emotional support to their peers across the
continents and around the world.
