Many countries are already in the developmental stages of manned mission to Mars; my wish is for Canada to be the first! Many see space travel as trivial and unnecessary, however I believe it should be viewed as an investment with countless returns. While it is very important to take care of our "home and native land", it is also important to look to the future and position ourselves as a leader in the ever burgeoning STEM fields."
