BRITISH COLUMBIA COLOMBIE-BRITANNIQUE " In this time of information, there is no longer an excuse for the propaganda and stereotypes of Indigenous people to persist. Take off the blindfolds, put away the movies and start asking questions. Why are the natives of Canada so angry? Why are their languages not spoken or taught in schools? Why do the government created reserves have third world conditions in a country supposedly known for its human rights? Why do they protest Canada150? Open your eyes, ask the hard questions, learn the true history of your country. We can only be a truly great nation when we all work together, and to do that: we all must stand on equal footing. My wish for Canada is to accept the work that needs to be done and work towards equality in justice, education, and employment for to its Indigenous population. Let's see an end to racism and discrimination!"
