I have many wonderful childhood memories of attending Pow Wows with my family. Seeing all the pretty dancers and singers and colours everywhere always inspired me, it's why I make my paintings very colourful. The Chief is the leader of a tribe; they have many responsibilities and are always there for their people. Other local Indigenous traditions promote respect for the wolf, which is regarded as an equal or brother. The wolf is also considered a medicine being, as well as courage, strength, loyalty and success at hunting."
