3 Our Explore150 Mobile App and #Wish150 Art Exhibition project mark a moment of significance in the history of Canada, as we reflect on our truth and stories of our individual and collective past while acknowledging the power of the present moment to imagine and shape the future. Throughout 2017 during Canada's Sesquicentennial, we engaged young people by connecting them to places of natural, cultural and historic significance in their own communities, while encouraging digital storytelling and sharing of experiences. We also organized a series of interactive and creative wish events involving collaborative artistic mosaics reflecting diverse perspectives and dreams from youth in every province and territory. Our hope is to find ways to support these wishes in the process of transforming ideas into realities. We would like to thank each person who accepted the invitation to contribute to this project. It takes courage to believe in the power of our imagination through the power of community conversations on how we can best move forward together to reach our visions. As we mark the occasion, it is essential for us to confront the lived realities of all those who share this land and to understand what we can do to improve relationships with one another and the environment. The wish expressed in this book are much more than passing hopes, they reveal the diverse goals and needs of our communities. We invite you to explore these wishes as calls to action to be worked towards over the next 150 years of Canada and beyond. Tout au long de 2017 durant le 150ième anniversaire du Canada, nous avons mobilisé des jeunes en les connectant à des lieux d'importance naturelle, culturelle et historique dans leurs propres communautés, tout en encourageant la narration numérique et le partage d'expériences. Nous avons également organisé une série d'événements interactifs et créatifs impliquant des mosaïques artistiques collaboratives reflétant diverses perspectives et rêves de jeunes dans chaque province et territoire. Nous espérons trouver les moyens de soutenir ces souhaits afin de les voir transformés en réalités. Nous tenons à remercier chaque personne qui a accepté l'invitation à contribuer à ce projet.
