Health & Wellbeing SAFER PART YING with Bringing Youth Towards Equality (BYTE) Using the model of harm reduction, we discuss with participants how to be accountable for their actions and stay as safe as possible while partying. HE ALTHY REL ATIONSHIPS with Bringing Youth Towards Equality (BYTE) This workshop identifies the diverse relationships we hold and helps build skills in facing challenges in relationships. We explore healthy traits in relationships and help define personal boundaries. HE ALTHY MINDS with Bringing Youth Towards Equality (BYTE) In this workshop, we discuss mental well-being and the impact that stress can have on us. We support confidence-building and explore different techniques for self-care. STRESS: THE SCIENCE OF ANXIET Y with Ontario Science Centre My heart is racing, my mouth is dry and my stomach in in knots! Don't worry, everyone feels anxious sometimes. Explore what's really going on in our brains when we experience anxiety, how it affects our bodies and why stress can sometimes be a good thing. This interactive science presentation explains how our brains and bodies react to stress, while introducing students to evidence-based coping strategies. Mental health applies to everyone — we can all take steps to enjoy life and deal with the challenges you face each day!
